March Comes In Like A Lion

Chaiken coat (similar) // ASOS faux fur collar (c/o, sold out, similar here) and jeans // Club Monaco turtleneck // Tibi boots // Bailey hat // Nashelle custom Brooklyn necklace (c/o) // Givenchy bag (I scored on this great resale site because it’s sold out in this color, similar here) // E.Kammeyer beaded bracelet

They say that “March comes in like a lion, and out like a lamb,” but March is here and it doesn’t look like this winter weather is easing up just yet after more snow in NYC this past weekend.

Just when I’m losing hope for spring to come, I’m ready to incorporate some of spring’s trends into my cold weather wardrobe like cropped/flared jeans, 70’s inspiration, and as we’ve seen ruling both the runways and red carpet, the color red.

Maybe if we start rocking the trends now, spring will come sooner. Here’s to wishful thinking.

STYLIST TIP: Wear what you love and don’t be a slave to trends. The best way to represent what you love is with personalized jewelry. I’m obsessing over all things by Nashelle lately, not only because I’m into delicate jewelry lately and not to mention jewelry that’s for a good cause, but you can personalize it just for you. In case you didn’t recognize my necklace here, it’s a custom made piece in the shape of Brooklyn, perfect for The Brooklyn Stylist!
